The 2011 Ohio State Coin Show


Ohio's Premier Coin Show will be hosted by CONA at the Crowne Plaza Hotel-Dublin, located at 600 Metro Place North, Dublin, Ohio 43017 (Hotel Phone 614-764-2200). There will be over 125 tables, featuring US coins, world coins, currency, ancient coins, tokens, medals, rare coins, exhibits and books and supplies! Additionally, parking is free, and there will be door prizes, a raffle drawing, and free grading opinions. Kim Kiick from the American Numismatic Association (http://www.money.org) and David Heinrich from the Central States Numistmatic Society (http://www.centralstates.info) will be manning their respective club tables to dispense information, answer questions, and generally participate.

New this year will be a show auction held by Rolling M Auctions at 6:30 pm on Friday, September 2, 2011. Lots may be viewed Thursday, September 1, from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm, and Friday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Lots are expected to be worth $100.00 to $3,000.00. The Liberty Seated Collector's Club (LSCC)


The Midwest Regional Meeting of the Liberty Seated Collector's Club (LSCC) with be held in conjunction with the Ohio State Coin Show at the Crowne Plaza Hotel-Dublin, 600 Metro Place North. The meeting with be held on Friday, September 2, 2011 at 10:00 am in Room 105. Stephen Petty will be presenting information on the club along with a presentation and show and tell on the seated 20 cent pieces minted from 1875 to 1878. Annual CONA Christmas Party Wednesday, December 14, 2011


The CONA Christmas Party will be held in the Waterford Room at the Crowne Plaza Hotel-Dublin, located at 600 Metro Place North, Dublin, Ohio 43017 (the same location as last year). The party will start at 6:30 pm and last until 10:30 “ish”. Check back for more information as it becomes available.

11: The Mount Vernon Show, held at the Dan Emmett Conference and Banquet Center, 160 Howard Street, Mount Vernon, Ohio. Admission is free, and the hours are 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.

October

8: Heart of Ohio Postcard and Ephemera Show, held at the Haimerl Center, 1421 Morse Road, Columbus, Ohio. Admission is $3.50, and the show runs from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. You never know what will turn up here.

21-22: The IKOTAMS (Indiana, Kentucky, and Ohio Token and Medal Society) 34th Annual Show will be held at the American Legion #707 Banquet Hall, 200 West National Road (US 40), Engelwood, Ohio, 45322. The show hours are 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Friday, and 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Saturday. For more information, please download the show announcement and location map. The Columbus Coin Show, Makoy Center, Hilliard, Ohio


The Columbus Coin Show takes place every third Sunday of the month at the Makoy Center, 5462 Center Street, Hilliard, Ohio 43026 (look for signs to see in which building it is being held). Admission is $2.00 per person (children wth paying adult are admitted free), and the show runs from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Greenhills Classic Stamp and Coin Show


The Greenhills Classic Stamp and Coin Show takes place on the last Sunday of the month (unless there is a holiday) at the American Legion Post 530, 11100 Winton Road, Greenhills, Ohio 45218.
